• Aloha, This plug can be used to plug in anything you want to control by Alexa or Google. I bought this for my mother so she can turn on her lamp light when she comes home at night. You dont need a smart bulb if it's to turn on lights, you can use any type of lamp, just plug it in after you set it up through your wifi. If you use a power strip, you could control multiple electronic devices. Hope this helps you.
