Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have cable internet with both options bi connected to the 2.4 since that seems to be the more stable option of the two. I don’t remember if there is any reason you couldn’t use the 5.0 but not sure b
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.2.4
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The box says that the plugs utilize the 2.4GHz frequency.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will only work on a 2.4 ghz. Initially I was disappointed, but then i realized that, since my router allows to have separate networks (1 in the 2.4GHz band and 2 in the 5GHz band), I figured, for the functionality it needs, it does not actually need 5GHz, besides, the less devices you have on a 5GHz band, the faster the data communication between the router and them, and since I barely use the 2.4 band, having devices like this one on that band is beneficial.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just hooked mine up to my 5 ghz wifi so I'd say yes. Most routers can broadcast both anyway though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need a 2.4GHz network for these to work, they will not connect on 5GHz.
