How to remove face plates null

The face plates are affixed using plastic tabs and can be removed by gently pulling the top, or the bottom, of the faceplate away from the housing. Once one end is removed, the other can be removed easily.

I was able to do it by bending the touch plate. I used my original touch plate because I was afraid I'd never get it off again.
