TracFone devices are locked to the TracFone network and cannot be activated on other carriers. While this device may use AT&T towers, it must be activated on the TracFone service and is not unlocked. I would recommend getting an unlocked GSM phone to use on AT&T if you do not want to use the TracFone service exclusively.
