QuestionHi, I was after an emergency phone for my mother. I only need the ability for it to be used when she needs to reach out outside of her home. As such I'm guessing she'd only go through say 20-40 a year (load it up and leave it). Can this phone do that?

- Answer Hi Kimberly, TracFone devices are locked to the TracFone network and cannot be activated on other carriers. While this device may use AT&T towers, it must be activated on the TracFone service and is not unlocked. I would recommend getting an unlocked GSM phone to use on AT&T if you do not want to use the TracFone service exclusively. Hope this helps!
