“Can I make one of the strands of 300 to do one pattern and the other side(strand) to do another? I have a 600 on my house, one strand of 300 on my gutters, and the other around the lawn/garden area... Can the two strands run different patterns?”

The short answer is no. There’s only one controller in the app, sees the lights as one set.
