They are 2 strands of 300, however, they are both attached to the same controller/power source. So, each 300 light length has a long lead wire that goes to the controller/power supply. You could make them one continuous (faux) by powering them in the center and running each of them away from the center. They are great lights and very easy to decorate with.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The best way to describe it would be 2 strands of 300 connected into one plug. I will also add that 600 does a very nice job with a 7.5 foot tall tree. I love the lights.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Both. The 300 lights are on one strand, then it hooks up to the power cord where the other 300 forks off of this. It's weird how they did this, as I would have preferred the lights to be on one continous strand. Because of this, my power cable cord attaches near the middle of my 7.5' tree and not at the bottom.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a single stand that runs approx 80 feet away in two directions from the controller. So you can effectively use it as two strands if you can keep them close together (within 15 feet). Otherwise, you'll need to purchase more strands of you need more lighting. This product does NOT separate into two individual strands.
