“Works great except for the record player which was the feature we wanted most. The arm settles on the record just fine starts playing but then skips across the record. Will not hold the recording groove in the recrds. Am I missing something? Suggestions?”

• Thought the same thing. Unfortunately, that doesn't work. Tried applying lead tape a little at a time to the head of the tone arm. No luck. Shouldn't have to do that to make a record player play records anyway.

• Add weight to arm...place a dime on the arm, if that doesn't work add a nikle , etc
