The VIDBOX apps are not distributed through the App Store. You should be able to install and run apps not distributed through the App Store. However, you may need to either change the permissions to do so in your System Preferences or right-click on the app and select Open to try to allow using the app as an exception. In the latter case, you will still normally get a warning, but you should also have an option to open the VIDBOX app anyway.
