• Not sure, I set recording time to max 3 hours and check the recording on PC to see when it is done then stop recording. Trial and error testing may answer your question or call support number listed on back page of quick start guide US 1-877-484-6246.

• Yes, the product does require setting a recording time. However, the recording times are set in Hours and Minutes (HH:MM), so you will have to set it accordingly for your recording.
