• Depends. If you burning them to the disc as compressed mp4 data files that can play in a computer, then yes. If you are formatting the files and burning them to watch in a working DVD player. then no. There are also DVD-R DL (dual layer) discs that are larger.

• It records up to 3hrs, if your video is longer, you can always creat a new file, and continue recording. In your editing software, you can blend them together
