• I had that problem. Go into settings/audio and select variable. That way the remote volume control will function.

• Just plug in red and white RCA coaxial plugs to output analog sound to analog input of powered speakers or home stereo system - sounds great! No settings to adjust, sound is already configured to output to 50-kohm external amplifier.
