Thank you for a great question on our D32x-D1! I apologize, but as this device will commonly output a resolution of 480i or lower, the TV will not be able to recognize this signal. Your TV can display as low as a 480p picture, or as high as a 1080p picture. You may be able to use a converter device of some sort to connect this to your TV. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Old NES systems do NOT need coax cable. If you look on the side of the Original Nintendo there is a place for A/V jacks. So Yes you should be able to hook it up just fine. Original zapper guns however do require a tube tv
