A:Answer what i can tell you is this - first, i don't have wi fi either[not available where i live]. i have a mobile hotspot, a jet pack that converts 4g to wifi, that connects to the vizio and works perfect. as to your question, i paired and connected my phone[ galaxy s9+] using the hotspot on the phone and it also works perfect. i would say that you would get the same result. the bad news in my experience is that when your hi speed data allowance for your hotspot runs out you will not be able to stream content to the tv. it is likely to run out very quickly. by the way the tv is really nice, perfect picture right out of the box
