“Is this system compatible with a receiver like the Sony STR-DH590? I ask because I have an ARC input on my tv, the new receiver, and the this surround system. However, the only way I can get any sound out of it is if I plug in directly to the soundbar”

I returned the Vizio soundbar system and purchased the Sonos Arc soundbar and two Sonos one SL speakers. More expensive, but the quality of the sound is worth it
