“Can a universal remote be programmed for use with this display so I don't need to use my phone? I'm not interested in casting anything. I just want to use the display for blue ray, roku, and cable.”

• Hi Benji! A universal remote would be able to be programmed but would be limited to the same functionalities as the included basic remote.

• Yes i use a Brighthouse universal remote and it works fine. Actually, I didn't even have to reprogram it from my previous TV, which was an LG brand.
