I researched this exact same queston before buying the less expensive TV. I used the COMPARE feature on Bestbuy.com and simply scrolled down to compare all the features. There were definitely a few minor differences, but they were minor enough that I literally can't remember, and minor enough that I bought the "lesser" unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The main technical specs such as resolution, contrast ratio, inputs/outputs, etc., are all the same. The main difference is the date of release. The E70-E3 was released after the E70u-D3
