I researched this exact same queston before buying the less expensive TV. I used the COMPARE feature on Bestbuy.com and simply scrolled down to compare all the features. There were definitely a few minor differences, but they were minor enough that I literally can't remember, and minor enough that I bought the "lesser" unit.
