Different specs on all three. The D series does not have local dimming. E series does have local dimming. M series has brighter screen and more zones of the local dimming. I found this Youtube video to be excellent to show how the local dimming works on the different Vizio units. Of course each series costs more than the next, so it's personal preference which one best suits your needs. Also the M series doesn't have a 70" screen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4V3TEYw7log
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Vizio series options starting with the lowest D-E-M-P . I would not consider the D series it is not full array back lit. The E series is full array back lit thus has a good picture. The M series is basically the E series with a brighter screen , for brighter rooms. The P series has the best picture of the four series, has a 120 hz panel the other three are 60 hz no matter what the "effective" rate claim is. Of course the better the picture the more it cost.
