• Hi Dfurniture, This console is made of High-grade MDF and metal. The White Oak finish is a textured laminate, and does have a wood-like feel. Let us know if you have any other questions!

• Not laminate. Feels like real wood, not slick, but a "matte" finish. Very nice looking "rustic".
