Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Spend about $400 and have the entire filter housing replaced by a Samsung Tech. I hope your refrigerator is still under warranty. The Replacement filters sold at Best Buy are not the same as the Original (OEM) filter. That being said, using the replacement filter damages the filter receptacle on the refrigerator, which leads directly to the dripping. To immediately stop the drip, just remove the filter. The bypass system will still allow the water to go to the water dispenser and the ice makers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to the manual drips are normal when installing / replacing. It may be air pressure preventing the filter from locking correctly. I waited 12-24 hours (norm for Samsung) before installing second time and with only a few drips. It may also be a bad filter. Call or Chat with a Samsung tech they are very helpful and will send instructions and diagrams while waiting online for you to attempt to correct issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with your refrigerator and filter. I would suggest calling either 888-BEST BUY or 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to help determine whether service will be necessary in this instance. Thank you, Ms. Samsung
