Q: QuestionAre there any cordless water picks that do not have nylon or plastic gears in them? I have experienced early failures of gears in Waterpik flossers.

- A:Answer Hello PIK44 -The only model that doesn't have plastic/nylon gears is the WF-04 Sidekick. However, please keep in mind that if you ever encounter any issues with any of our water flossers, just let us know, as they all come with a warranty.

Q: QuestionHow come it doesn’t have a charging indicator, at over $60 price?

- A:Answer I’d suggest to put an indicator on this model or cancel it, this is not right. Users must know the charging is going, also this model allow water to leak from the cup.

- A:Answer If the Water Flosser is used once a day or less, it is recommended to be charged once a week, overnight. If used twice a day or more, charge the unit more frequently. Typically an overnight charge is sufficient to fully charge the unit.

Q: QuestionMy cordless waterpik stopped charging and now it's not working. What do you recommend to do to get the waterpik to charge again? The waterpik is always on it's charger but it's not holding the charge. Thanks so much.

- A:Answer I found that the contacts on the magnetic charging cable corrode very easily. I polished them carefully with fine sandpaper, both on the cable and the waterpik, and now it is charging OK.
