• Couldn't compare. Yeah, it makes noise, but a vibrating pressure will do that.

• I place mine on a washcloth, and is runs much quieter. The advice to not buy it because of noise is disturbing. The benefits far outweigh any temporary disturbance. IMO

• From what I've seen the new model is quite but has less options so pick what you value more quieter or more use's.
