Will this work in a Mid 2010 iMac desktop? null

Yes, as long as you have a full desktop, will fit because of its measures.

It should only on one side, I do not think one side of it (USB-C/Thunderbolt 3) it compatible with the 2018 iMac, but the USB type A should work fine. Please see the attached, as it should do the job just as well.

Thats what i bought it for. Right now using it as external boot until i have time and energy to replace the one inside my imac. Its a pain to replace! Need a suction cup to pull the screen off and lots of patience!!
