Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This will work just fine, howevert is not a fast hard drive. I only recommend it for supplemental storage. I would spend a bit more and get an SSD hard drive as your main drive. That will be the biggest performance improvement you can get for the money. Also, this drive does not come with cables, so make sure you have SATA cables (normally they come with the mother board). Good luck.

Once you have verified the type of interface then you can choose you HDD. This particular one is a SATA drive and should be suitable for newer platforms.
