Yes, but you have to drag and drop the files. You cannot do a carbon copy of your computer on this. Also, installed programs will not transfer.

Theoretically exFAT should be visible as well but I’ve ran into some issues with Vista and exFAT so just go NTFS and you’ll be golden.

Please try again later.A friend of mine with more computer skills than I have was able to do this for me-- we were taking files from Windows Vista and wanted to use them on MacBook Air. As I recall though, there were some formatting issues involved-- both with the drive and with the files themselves. Some of the challenges we encountered may have been to the migration from pc to Mac. Hope this helps
