“My passport shows a yellow icon and now it is blue. Whats up? I have a 2008 MAC . I will be setting up our new MAC we just purchased from Best Buy. Will My Passport work on it? Thanks CMA”

The blue light means it ready to transfer files. MACs do need a special format. There is an app on this drive that can get it ready for your MAC" WD Discovery". or go to the WD webpage at https://support.wdc.com. Then select "Downloads" from the top of the page. Then select "My Passport", for the product. Then scroll down to Software For MAC and select WD Drive Utilities for Mac or Install WD Discovery for Mac (for all the free apps that are available). The drive format utility has selections for different MAC OS,
