• Yes it does. That’s why I bought it and have been using it for this purpose for months with no issues. PS4 will just prompt you to format it for use as an extended storage device. Very simple process.

• Yes that is the exact reason I purchased the HDD. I have had no problems since purchasing and setting it up.
