I'm guessing that's because you're not really streaming 4K video, but rather either 720P or 1080P (turn on "stats for nerds" in the YouTube app and it'll tell you the resolution that you're streaming). I haven't figured out a way to change the resolution to 4K (or any other resolution- for that matter) in the YouTube app. All I've been able to do, so far (my TV was just delivered today) is download 4K videos from YouTube to my PC, then transfer them to a flash drive, and then play them via USB on my TV.
