These new kind of TVs don't need an antenna or a converter, for they are already built inside. So you will need to go under your tv settings. There you will have an option for cable or air in your setting on the tv. If you have cable, then connect your cable plug behind the tv, then click on the cable option under your tv settings, once you click on cable option, turn off the tv and turn it back on and you should be set. Now for the air local channels, you will click on the "air option under your tv settings but there is one more step after that. You will need to do a search for channels in the tv settings. This takes about 2-5 mins loading and searching for those local channels, depending how many local channels are provied in your area it sometimes can take longer but that's very rare. Once that's complete, turn off the tv and turn it back on and you should be able to see all the local channels prefect and clear.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you would as it doesn't have one built in and would need it to watch local programming.
