Our current model has a fan that comes on automatically and then cannot be turned off or turned down until it decides it will do it on it's own. If the fan comes on for this model, can you manually adjust it or turn it off? null

Hello! The fan cannot be turned off. This is to keep the controls cool. We hope this helps.

Answer

It is a protection from heat.  When heat is too high from cooktop or range it will automatically turn on and then when cool enough will turn off.  This protects the microwave.
