Yes it can be turned to vent up
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes..the vents at the back can be setup where the airflow goes up. This is in shown in the manual and this feature has been in older microwaves too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine is set up without a vent. The exhaust fan functions just fine without an external vent. I got the impression from my installer that it is capable of venting as you are describing, however. Hopefully you can find a definitive answer. I love this microwave.
