Hello Yoyo! To ensure proper ventilation for your refrigerator, allow ¹⁄₂" (1.25 cm) of space on each side, and between the top of the refrigerator and overhead cabinets. Allow 2" (5 cm) of space behind the refrigerator. If your refrigerator has an ice maker, allow extra space at the back for the water line connections. When installing your refrigerator next to a fixed wall, leave a 3¹⁄₈" (8 cm) minimum space on the hinge side to allow the door to swing open.

We left an inch on each side and in the back and have had no issues with heat
