A:AnswerI had a tech come to look at this piece and they confirmed the piece did not have a film on it; however all of these accent pieces have scuffs according to the tech. Seems like an odd way to accent an otherwise very elegant looking dishwasher. (The tech brought out a replacement trim piece to show me it was the same as the one that originally came on the dishwasher.)

A:AnswerI just received this dishwasher last week. There are no folding tines on either rack. Had them on the previous model on the bottom and liked the option that allowed me to make extra room for large items. That is one of the few downsides to this model.
