“Can anyone share their experience? After delivery approximately how long does it take the freezer portion to get to temperature so that I can start putting items back into it? Is this an hours long process or rather quickly? Thank you!!”

It can depend on the temperature of the refrigerator when it was delivered. Ours sat in the delivery truck for quite sometime on a 95 degree day! It took about 8 hours, but we also used a separate temperature gauge to verify the temp before we added items.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We actually waited 24 hrs. but our freezer started making ice with in hours of setting it up, so I am sure it was cold enough then to put food in it, we just wanted to make sure. It was rather quickly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We waited about 30 minutes to verify that it was getting cold, and then put our frozen stuff in. We had no choice since our old fridge went away with the delivery guys. I feel like the addition of our frozen items probably sped up the cooling process in the freezer by lowering the overall temperature. The freezer reached freezing temps in about 3 hours. The temp outside was around 60° when the fridge was delivered.
