Hello cabinpal, as long as you are not smelling gas and if all burners are turned to off, you may have moisture in the switches from cleaning or a spill. Allow time for the moisture to dry. You can speed up the drying time by removing the knobs and blowing cool air from a hair blow dryer onto the knob shaft.
