Cleanwater, you will need to run 4 gallons of water through the Water Filter. This activates the filter and purges the refrigerator lines of any air bubbles that can interfere with the flow of dispensing. We recommend saving the dispensed water for watering house plants.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Somewhere in the very fine print on the box shows to run 4 gallons of water through the filter. We use a 4 cup measuring cup and keep refilling it 16 times. It’s a pain, I’m sure others may have a better system.
