“Why are you telling people their old duet pedestals won't work with their new duet washers and dryers? The older pedestals are an little different height but will work. At a cost $249 each, this is a big deal to customers.”

Hi DonL, thank you for your inquiry. Certain model pedestals are manufactured and engineered with certain model washers in mind. There are some differences that could make installation with an undesignated model unsafe. Therefore, it is best to tell customers they shouldn't use that model pedestal.
