Q: QuestionWhy are you telling people their old duet pedestals won't work with their new duet washers and dryers? The older pedestals are an little different height but will work. At a cost $249 each, this is a big deal to customers.

• A:Answer Hi DonL, thank you for your inquiry. Certain model pedestals are manufactured and engineered with certain model washers in mind. There are some differences that could make installation with an undesignated model unsafe. Therefore, it is best to tell customers they shouldn't use that model pedestal.

• A:Answer Hi Dabada2daba, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, your old pedestal would not work for model number WED75HEFW. Depending on what you style of pedestal your prefer, any of the following would work with this model.... XHPC155XW is white with a chrome handle and 15.5 inches XHP1000XW is white and is also 15.5 inches We hope this helps!

• A:Answer Hi Nancy, the WFW85HEFW has not been approved for the WHP1500SQ. You can use either the XHPC155XW (15.5" height) or XHP1000XW(10" height). hope this helps
