Do you have to drain this unit null

Condensation may accumulate in humid climates. There is a plug at the base of the back to help drain excess build up that the unit couldn’t evaporate though the outlet tube. I’ve never needed to do this in my dry climate. But always make sure to drain the unit and let it dry before storing it in the off season.
