• I have a 10ft ceiling. My countertop is 36 inches. How far down does the vent hang ?

• We have 10 foot ceilings and our hood was installed at 32 1/2 inches and it looks and works fine. This was worked out with the professional installer mostly because we didn't like the looks of the hood so high as 36 inches. It's your decision.
