“The old Typhoon H had antennas that weren't very sensitive, so the range was limited. Also, the controller did not have good receiving antennas. Has the range been extended with this model and if so how much?”

I haven't flown the Old Typhoon H and sadly haven't had much chance to take my H+ to it's limits yet. I can say it has around a 1 mile range, which is farther than you can legally fly in the USA at this time anyways.
