Love this CD. Jake E Lee is back. great music!
Bought this after hearing partial tracks on YOUTUBE. IF you are a fan of some of the music Jake did with Ozzy you will like this cd. There are many different styles of music here, but it is a hard rock album. Robin Zander sings on a track - feeder - and it is killer! Paul Dianno from Iron Maiden fame sings on a track - Wasted - it is good if you like his voice. I love the singer's voice on the other tracks as well. I don't think you will regret getting this CD if you are a Jake E Lee fan!

Satisfy your Jake E. Lee craving
Most likely you are reading this bc you are a fan of Jake E Lee's playing on either Ozzy Osbourne's albums or his own Badlands. I personally didn't pay much attention to The Ultimate Sin until the announcement of this new CD. I was simply getting my Jake E Lee from Badlands's debut and Voodoo Highway. I like Dusk but the production is somewhat annoying at times. Back to Red Dragon Cartel, it won't disappoint. It features several guest performers including renowned singers on three tracks which are all good. The band's singer sounds really good on the first few tracks, but gets repetitive and boring later. You are left with the impression that if a couple more tracks were sung in a different style, the album would be better. The melodic hard rock is not unlike Badlands, a modern take (and in this case modern means 21st. century) on the classic rock sound that shows its blues influences all over. Overall a solid album, enjoyable and a favorite of the year so far. It's just that Jake E Lee's previous albums have been enjoyed for two decades at least and this one doesn't seem that will last as long, and still, you will get plenty of mileage out of it.

J.Lee was an integral part of Ozzy Osborne band. This CD is probably one of the best to come along in a while. Loved this CD.
