Best Buy Geek Squad is the BEST!! I've rarely had issues with products but when I do Geek Squad is on it!!

I recently used Geek Squad to help fix my laptop and I was very impressed with the service. The technician was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I am so very glad that I purchased this Geek Squad Service. I've already had cause to call in for assistance 3 times since I purchased it after buying my new home and moving here to Missouri from Texas about 5 months ago. I was diagnosed with cancer nearly 5 yrs. ago and was then turned over to hospice and not expected to live. All of the Radiation caused nerve damage and I lost most of the use of one hand and part of the other. The Chemo triggered a horrible form of dementia. After being miraculously healed of Cancer and released from Hospice all of the rest really put me behind as I muddled my way out of the dementia. It's been such a long journey, so when I get a bit confused and simply pick up the phone to call for help figuring things out from the Geek Squad it truly has been a life saver for me. I needed a laptop to supplement my desktop, so I went to Best Buy to take a look. I found the exact one I was looking for. An HP Envy 17.3" laptop with w/touchscreen. I've been using it now for 8 months, and it has been beautiful. I couldn't be happier with my choice.

The Geek Squad is definitely a group of electronic wizards! Luckily for me because I have no such powers, but now they are on my team, and that makes me feel even better about my purchase.

It feels very reassuring that if my thing brakes i cant ethier get a new one or fix my laptop easily, but so far I haven't gottten a chance to test out the process

Bought s nre laptop but i coujdnt get an update to load. On chat, i was told to restart, or log out of everything then back on. My download then ssid it was done and activated.

You need protection for your laptop when it's this expensive (this much of an investment) and the fact that accidents can happen to anyone, anytime. It's a must-have.

The laptop was delivered two days earlier than originally anticipated, and I had absolutely NO TROUBLE, setting it up - only problem is, I need to be connected to the Internet, to set up AND sign in - but that's why I got myself a laptop to begin with - I shouldn't need to be online, just to sign in to the computer; what we think of as a computer shouldn't require Internet, *just* to sign in! That's my only complaint, other than I was expecting a reversible touch screen laptop, and got a beautiful, non-reversible laptop, that is not the touchscreen I had expected.

Good so far Happy that I have not had to use the protection. It does give peace of mind

I get these protection plans for pretty much everything over $100, due to I find it beneficial when I have had things go bad shortly after the manufacturer warrantee. And if it is deemed "broke" beyond repair, they'll give you your money back on a gift to purchase something else.

Initially, I was told they'd have to send it off for 2 weeks but rep took to back to see if she could fix problem and she was able to. Thanks so much. Can't afford to be without laptop for 1 day. *-*
