I buy Best Buy geek squad, accidental damage protection plans for almost all of my electronics. They have come in handy quite a few times, and the customer service is always top-notch.

The geek squad handled every problem I ran into with a previous laptop and when it was clear it was time to get a new one, they offered advice on the perfect one for me. I would highly recommend getting this for any device.

Haven't had to take advantage of the extra warranty yet, but if I do it will be well worth the money

These guys are great!!!! The geek squad is a force!! They tried there absolute best to fix my laptop in a timely manner. And when they couldn’t they were very communicative and sent multiple texts every step of the way to inform me of next steps. Got a replacement because I had there warranty and everything was so smooth and easy. I’m freaking ecstatic that I can play my favorite games again !!!

Great use for a high school teen Has durability to it as well. My kid loves leaving it in random places. Uses for high school, games, and movies. No complaints

I like geek squad protection. electronics are expensive and this is peace of mind. Plus I think all the techs I have encountered are very knowledgable. I like I can ask questions and they treat me with respect. I have asked for advice on my purchases and they have helped me. They came to y home at no charge and fixed my smart TV. The cost of the extended warranty threw geek squad is well worth the money.

You can tell this laptop is just made better, my last few were more flimsey and just more creekey with noises when opening and closing the lid, etc. This one is solid and feels well made. I also love the specs! I can play any of my games at best settings and it handles with ease!

Nice Lenovo laptop with a touch screen and paid 2-year accidental Geek Squad Protection, my daughter is enjoying the features. And she said I should give the product 4 stars in the review. The free digital Trendmicro internet security that came with the laptop has not been installed up till now. I called Bestbuy and they referred me to the Trendmicro Geeksquad team and yet no solution from their instruction. They initially told me that they would prefer to come to my home to fix it, which would come with additional pay, so opted out. I want to say that this accompanied digital internet security is not free as Best Buy claimed if not let them install it for me rather than deceiving me.

I purchase this service as a "just in case" feature. A no worry feature to have.

I absolutely love my insurance policy from Best Buy! It gives me total peace of mind knowing my purchases are protected. The coverage is comprehensive, easy to use, and such a great value for my money. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for reliable and affordable product protection!

I have used geeksquads insurance on a few of my gaming laptops and more expensive purchases over the years. Some of those had defects or were damaged due to mistakes. Best Buy has ALWAYS either fixed the issue to my satisfaction or replaced the item with a new item. In the few rare cases when the item couldn't be replaced they gave me a gift card worth the original purchase price of my product so that I could buy a replacement of similar quality. All in all I have been very happy with their insurance.

Like any insurance, you really only feel like it was worth it if you actually damage your device and need to use it. I have purchased this before for my kids laptop and sure enough one day he dropped it and damaged the charging port in the corner. With the policy, it was completely fixed for free. Without it, I probably would have been out at least a couple hundred bucks. Had he not dropped it, the insurance would have been wasted money. In the long run, it is probably worth it if the device is for a younger person who is more likely to damage it.
