Always good to purchase Geek Squad protection, I’ve had it for 11 years and a satisfied customer, wouldn’t buy a laptop without it! Geek Squad employees are excellent!

I think overall, for the price of protection, considering what people pay for electronics nowadays, it's a good insurance to have.

I haven't had to use the service, and hope I never do :-), but 4-years of protection is worth the cost for the peace of mind it provides.

I spilt hot green tea on my keyboard. So I called. Sent the unit back to Best Buy/ Geek Squad. Then I get an email at 11PM on a Friday night telling me: "The costs to repair your product have now reached your plan's maximum benefit amount. This means the terms of your plan have been fulfilled and your Geek Squad® Protection Plan coverage has ended." So, am I getting a replacement or a store credit? I don't know. It doesn't say. The warranty says it could be either/ or. So I guess I will spend my Saturday morning, or my Monday morning, calling and chatting my way up the information food chain so I can find out what is or is not going to happen. This type of notification without all the information is a total fail for Best Buy and Geek Squad. There is really no excuse for this. Don't get me wrong. I appreciate that, (at least I hope), that I will get a replacement or store credit. But I have no idea which. Am I looking for a computer to be delivered? Do I have a store credit floating out there somewhere? And just when exactly will I find out this necessary information? This info should have been in the email I received at 11PM on a Friday. Stay tuned. Let's see how they handle this. Will I ever know? Will they even care. Jesus, take the wheel.

Chromebook is well manufactured. The purchase price is very reasonable for the use needed. Both of my boys, (middle school & high school ) prefer to use this Chromebook vs. the one provided by their school. I highly recommend this Chromebook for those parents shopping for their kids for school. Lightweight, keypad size and pad, perfect.

Good accidental damage protection for an expensive new laptop. Surely hope that I never need this, but it is comforting to have the coverage there if I need it.

I purchased thos protection for this laptop i have not had to use yet but I purchased this protection for my old laptop and had to use it becaise i broke my screen. They fixed my laptop in a timely manner and fixed everything perfectly. This protrction is 100% worth it do not a laptop with out this protection. I literally broke my screen only a couple days after i purchased my laptop and im so happy i did!

A two year plan for this price is definitely worth the money.

The agent helped me get my computer fixed when my computer didn’t wanna scroll, I needed it for school and they got it fixed within a day and got it running better than ever, thank you!

If any damages come along the way, I have three years on this protection plan to get my laptop fixed or replaced. I take my laptop on the go most of the time so this plan was worth it for me!

ALWAYS need protection these days with a teenager in the house.... LOL

Will recommend if you have time to wait for more that two to three week without it the device .
