[Employee of bestbuy] My MSI laptop had a major problem with the fan. It was constantly overheating and the fan was unusually loud. Took it to Geek Squad and walked right out with a laptop working like it’s brand new!

Already used once before my 1st year was up. Best Buy took care of everything without any hassle.

Thankfully this extra warranty was/is available for Chromebooks & laptops for children who are doing their schoolwork from home occasionally & won’t have to bring a school Chromebook home (too small, responsible for replacing if broken, etc). Accidental damage protection is a must for anything I order due to multiple children fighting over everything & ADHD senses ending up breaking too many things. Luckily this covers accidental damage & spills!

I've always purchased the Geek Squad Protection Plan for any and all of my products in which I buy from Best Buy. In the long run you will save money if your product has to be replaced if you spill something on it or accidentally, drop your purchased items and break it. You can have your merchandise replaced without paying anything. My 1-Year Protection Plan has definitely saved me money in the long run. Think twice before, walking out the store without FIRST purchasing your 1-Year Protection Plan. Take it from me its worth having.
