Best Buy geek squad is the best guarantee that you imagine. Always my family get this option.

When you buy a $1,500 computer, you really gotta get an extended warranty. Things happen. Accidents happen, whether the laptop gets dropped, or water (or crumbs) spill on it. A video card can go out, a key can get stuck. I like that I just bring it into the store and it will be serviced. I don't how fast Geek Squad is, but I like that there's somewhere I can physically take it, if I need to.

Have a minor issue with my son’s new computer. We were able to schedule a Geek Squad appointment online super easily. It is for the next day so that is convenient since my son needs his computer for college classes.

We haven't always gotten this protection for us adults, but have never regretted getting it on our kids' laptops! Things seem to happen to those & we are always grateful to have this option for getting things fixed!

Love the laptop. Love the touch screen. I keep forgetting it has it. If you purchase this you will not be disappointed.

Buying a Chromebook for a middle-school child is a must and the protection was a no brainer - already made use of it when she dropped it down our staircase and the touch-screen sensitivity was gone. Brought the Chromebook in for repair, took a little longer than anticipated but she did a decent number on the item. Got it back in perfect shape, like new. Well worth the extra cash up front.

1 year protection plan is great. If i would have any problems with my laptop bring it in and they'll fix it

The only time I've ever had to use this service has resulted in a wonderful experience. Geek Squad made it super easy to get my laptop repaired. The manufacturer was so hard to deal with, so I called Geek Squad and they took the burden off of my shoulders and made things right, and the associates I spoke with were patient and were able to provide me with all the information I needed.

Though I didn't really need and use it, I'm glad I had the protection for just in case.

We have not needed to use Geek Squad but it is nice having the comfort of knowing it is available

I have only tried to use the Geek Squad service, so this review is based on that. I used the live chat feature to contact the Geek Squad right after setting up my computer. I asked for help with the lighting when I used the camera. It seemed like it should be an easy fix for someone familiar with the computer. I was told I would have to take my computer in for service, and was given a number to call to set that up. I wasn't interested in traveling 45 miles to the nearest Best Buy, so worked on trying to fix the issue myself. I think I have resolved the problem, but I would have appreciated some help without a two-hour travel time.

I never check out without the warrenty. Most products I buy, I buy it for my kids. Its easy to set up an appointment and Geek Squad make sure you understand everything and let you know what your options are.

1-Year Accidental Geek Squad Protection Who wouldn't want protection on such a great laptop. Only makes sense to buy it.

I bought the service and although I haven't had to use it yet my techie friend recommended it, and I'm reassured that I have it available in case anything goes wrong. The salesman who helped me was very professional and helped me through the process and I appreciate that!

Knowing that my device is covered for accidental damage gives me total peace of mind, especially since accidents can happen when you least expect it. No-brainer.

Have not had to use it yet but use them in the past. Always helpful and very knowledgeable when I need them. Have this again for another purchase review will be the same every time. They are great.

Im not sure what i am reviewing since the app didnt actually specify. The items i purchased were a lenovo legion laptop, the geek squad warranty, a gaming chair, a desk, and h&r block tax software. All wonderful so far.

Purchased on my last laptop and it came in handy the battery lost full charge...had to have the battery replaced and specific keys got really worn and got them replaced. Did all this before the 3 year. They send out so it took almost 3.5 weeks before I got back but it saved me money.

I know I have posted these Best Buy protection plans reviews on here several times, so I won't keep saying the same thing. Bottom line, the easiest and hassle free protection plan in my opinion there is that we have used. I would recommend to anyone that doesn't have the money to go out and replace anything at anytime over say $150 of electronics or appliance's. Bottom line.
