Got a Great Deal on the Laptop and since anything can happen i decided to insure it since the price for insurance is a Great Deal as well.

We purchased this accidental protection on an item and actually had to use it! Our item was replaced with a better one because the item we had trouble with is no longer available.

Have had too many mishaps with laptops and hope this one isn't as use service as most. Geek squad has always been a good source for my husbands iphone.

When I purchase a product, I read the reviews to see how it holds up. If there are any problems indicated with the product, I buy the protection plan thru the Geek Squad. So far, I am been very lucky and have not had to use it, but it is there if I need to use it.

I don't like extended warranties and believe they are a waste of money. I will, however, buy the Geek Squad warranty on laptops due to the tendency for screens to crack. The Geek Squad warranty claims to cover accidental breakage so i purchased this specifically because it's a pain to replace screens.

Havnt need it for this product but have in the past and its worth every penny.
