My dehumidifier broke but thankfully I had a two-year protection plan. I went to BestBuy and had an easy return. I got a gift card that I used to replace my dehumidifier. I bought the protection again!

Purchased a dehumidifier for the basement and reviews looked great for the most part, but did notice that some people stated the dehumidifier has broken down over a year or two. Having a 4 year protection plan for under $15 a year is a great price for the peace of mind. The dehumidifier was already on sale for $60 off, so that covered the cost of the protection anyway. If it lasts 4 years or more, definitely worth the purchase, and if it breaks before then like some people have experienced, can have it fixed or replaced for a fraction of the price to buy a new one.

I recommend the geek squad protection for any purchase, as the quality of everything is not like it used to be for any manufacturer out there. I was thankful I had it for refrigerator, stove, washer, dryer, phone, camera. Made in America and outside America, the quality sucks-no pride in products, making extended warranty a must on any major purchase.

This is for a tv for my brother who is on a limited income and this added peace of mind is well worth it.

Extended warranties are always a good buy. We live in Florida, with the heat and the humidity, and we have dogs. Large dogs. Stuff just happens around them. Never had an issue with any return or repair.
