I mean, it's good to protect your items, support is great. Do your research.

I've purchased all of my electronics, appliances, and cameras from Best Buy. I do not purchase anythings within getting Geek Squad protection because it's the absolute BEST!!! I actually use the Geek Squad protection on this TV. This TV was my replacement. Filing a claim and delivery was quick and easy! 10/10 I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

I love everything about it. The price was right and the quality is excellent. Will recommend.

We got the 5 year warranty and it’s the best our previously purchased Sony kept freezing and they came out 8 times replaced everything and finally gave us a full refund! We were able to get a new tv and so far it’s been great!

When ever i make a purchase i use geek squad and thier warranty on every purchase for my electronic. Knowing that if anything happens im covered gives me peace of mind. Always recommend getting this to save on repairs. And the service is top notch

I bought a Samsung TV in 2013. I extended my Geek Squad Protection plan before the 2 year mark expired. Thank goodness I did because the next year (2016) after extending the protection, a weird vertical line appeared on the TV screen. Called Geek Squad... so stressed out about it thinking the worst like they won't honor the protection, it's gonna take long to process a new TV, etc. They got somebody right away to look at the TV, told me it has to be replaced, got a call from corporate for pricing... my TV was $2,500.. 3 year depreciation later, they were willing to give me one for $1,500 either get a TV for that amount or pick a more expensive TV and they'll minus $1,500 from the expensive TV. I think it was fair. I didn't think I was jacked or anything. 3 years later, the TVs were more advanced and hi-tech. They gave me the pricing of what my tv with same specs would have cost in current times. I opted to get a more current version of Samsung TV (more expensive) and just pay the difference. Also got a 5 year protection plan this time around.

Gives me great peace of mind on my new tv, I’m not afraid about breaking it

I didn’t use them to assemble the tv and haven’t had any issues yet, but if we do it will be covered by the geek squad.

TV I purchased had a bad board. They replaced the board at no cost, but still had issues. They were able to replace the TV with a brand new one (newer model) at no additional cost, and they even threw in another warranty for free!

I bought a 5-year warranty at a very good price; I hope I won't have to use it.

Had to use my Geek Squad Service just 2 months before it was expired on my 75" TCL ROKU TV .. IT WAS REPLACED WITH AN UPGRADED MODEL AND I BOUGHT ANOTHER 5 YEAR GEEK SQUAD SERVICE..

Geek squad has always been very helpful. I dropped off my laptop in the past and they’ve repaired it.

I got burned (pun intended) with my Sony A1E OLED with a couple burn ins in just owning it for 2 and a half years and didn’t have coverage. Upgraded to the LG GX OLED for my new XBOX Series X console and couldn’t be happier. I now have peace of mind knowing Geek Squad will protect from burn ins. I have used Geek Squad in the past for a product and the service is the best. No haggle or hassle. If you purchase a OLED tv I would highly recommend purchasing from Best Buy along with the geek squad protection. I purchased the 5 year plan. The cost was fair.

A protection plan is great if you're overly cautious and almost a must if you have children. Would highly recommend for purchases over $100, especially if they have a lot of moving parts.

Took in and repaired on same day. Had a hard time finding where to make an appt.

I always buy the five year Geek Squad protection because Best Buy honors it. Totally worth it.
