This Pioneer model was exactly what I wanted. It fit perfectly without blocking the ac vents. Android auto, the app displays, the Pioneer app on your phone allows you to use your device as a remote, and it comes with xm radio. The sound quality is great as I bought a couple of Pioneer speakers as well. Overall I couldn't be happier with the radio and speakers. The upgrade was a wise decision. I have to mention the install guy AJ. He's a professional. He did a fantastic job with the installation.

Touch screen is very clean , slim design. makes my car interior look amazing even the sound out of the speaker sound so much better!

The radio is great, the display is bright and crisp, the resolution is described as 720p but the screen pixels go up to 600, that doesnt mean that the screen looks amazing. The setting are easy to follow and it makes the music sound great, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto (Also wired), usb connections, digital EQ, HD Radio, Sirius XM satellite radio (subscription needed) and Bluetooth audio. The only reason i didnt give it a 5 stars was the companion app on the phone, the companion app needs to be completely changed from the ground up, it needs a redesign and a faster way to connect to the radio as soon as the radio is turned on, the companion app acts like a second screen for your radio showing you what you are playing on the radio, settings and controls, some people would find this useless and others would find it cool to use but it the app actually needs to be better, faster and have more features.

Purchased this for my 2014 Kia Optima with BOSE. Installed in store at Best Buy. Install took 5.5hrs total. Issues included: getting the back up cam to work, and getting it to mount properly due to size. It was suppose to tilt up and down but due to difficulty, the tilt wasn’t an option for me, I could however have it mounted on the dash or floating just slightly above the dash. When it floated, it was a lot more flimsy. I opted to have it mounted on. No changes or mods were done to my speakers. When I turn the volume all the way up, there is distortion in the music but I believe this can be fixed once I have time to go in and tweak some settings. The back up cam that came with my vehicle was a lot more accurate. With this new radio, I always have to hit a button to turn the guidelines on. Other than the install time and the small issues mentioned above, I’m very impressed with my new radio. It certainly upgrades the interior look and feel of my vehicle. I was able to sit and watch the install towards the end and fully understand how complicated it was. My installer was clear when I made my appointment, it would be difficult to install because of the size, make and model of my car. I’m glad they set those expectations early on. Despite it all, they made sure it was done and done right.

I upgrade my OEM car radio with a pioneer DMH-WT5000NEx with MAESTRO RR Idatalink to conserve Steren wheel control , this stereo fit perfect with the Metro dash kit, it’s amazing the new look for my car now it’s look like a 2025 model with the floating screen, and the features that show from Can Bus obdII, I like the gauges , the sound is incredible , the 13 band equalizer and the cross frecuency controls protect the OEM front /rears speakers , to increase the bass also I installed a Amp & subwoofer Kicker Brand , the sound is great !!

Im impressed with the radio. good screen quality. However im not impressed with Best Buy. when purchasing my radio, I was given a list of what I needed to install the head unit. 2 of the harnesses were wrong and was told I couldn't return them because I was out. of the return time.

I was hesitant on getting this Pioneer unit. I knew I needed CarPlay for my 2017 RAV4 since I go road trips quite a bit. I pulled the trigger and bought an open-box and do not regret it. It does everything phenomenal. It honestly has made my car feel modern (the trend of tablets glued on the dash, really). Maestro works well, Carplay works well, HD radio works well, Back-up camera works well, and the screen is perfect. I definitely recommend it.

It’s a big upgrade. They did a very good job install it.. the pioneer screen is Crystal clear and backup. Camera is very clear.

Bjg upgrade from my stock head unit on my 2017 Outback with Harman Kardon speakers.

This is a huge upgrade over my factory Nissan Frontier nav unit. Nice, clear, large screen, and I didn't lose any steering wheel capability. I am enjoying this, especially now that I have Android Auto! My only knock is on the floating screen; it tends to rattle a little on less-than-perfect roads. I remedied the rattle with a high-density foam behind the screen.

This is an awesome product, it took my 2003 Expedition right into 2026. What an upgrade! I was so excited to find a mint condition 2003 Ford Expedition XLT with low miles. It feels like being back in the day today driving a time capsule… lol. It was an easy decision to upgrade with a Pioneer stereo and back up camera.

The size of this radio is great, the processing speed, display, sound and functionality are awesome! Have only had it for a few weeks but so far it was worth the money.

I bought this product as an open box and it was missing a few things (as most open boxes do). But the worst thing about this is getting the NEW chassis model (DMH-WT5000NEX) with the PREVIOUS model LCD Screen (DMH-WT3800NEX). After installing, the touchscreen did not respond consistently, and NO AUDIO would play. I checked everything: no blown fuses, wiring harness, source audio settings, etc... I even did a "hard reset" of the unit. Nothing. The Pioneer website says these two models (while fairly new) are not meant to be used interchangeably. My unit should have contained the same model number for BOTH screen and chassis (DMH-WT5000NEX). Therefore I'm returning this in the next 3 days. As for would I recommend this product, I still say 'yes', but MAKE SURE you have the same model number for BOTH components!

Make sure to speak with someone on the Geek Squad before your installation. You'll want to make sure you order specifically what your vehicle needs. I ordered the wrong dash panel, and I didn't order the tuner needed for satellite radio. The online ordering process does leave out certain details, and you may need to make a return visit to get everything installed. The two technicians I dealt with at my local Best Buy handled everything well, and the installation went smoothly on my second appointment. I likely could have avoided wasting my time if I had gone to Best Buy and made the purchase there. So far, I'm loving it. I replaced the small, stock 5" screen/receiver in my 2018 RAM 1500 with this receiver. The sound can be adjusted in many ways, and the appearance can be adjusted to your style. The setup is easy to learn. I love being able to use Waze on a split screen with my other apps. The screen resolution is good for my backup camera. I'm not a tech kinda guy, but I love learning about all the features.

So far I am more than pleased with this radio. Boot up time is insanely quick, on par with factory. The screen resolution is kind of low but it looks HD. Screen is crisp and bright and very responsive. Not real impressed with the weblink function but it’s not something I use all the time if any anyways so I’m not knocking it for that. I have it paired with a idatalink maestro rr to retain factory steering controls in a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited and it works flawlessly. In case I missed it or it’s just not stated in the description the screen does have set screws to hold the viewing position so it’s not easily adjusted but I like that so again not knocking it for that. The sound from this radio is so good. Has the power and clarity to push your speakers. Awesome radio and I would highly recommend it.

This has been a great stereo system so far. Easy to connect to, clear screen, and lots of features. Shout to Seth for the install, his help and clear communication were awesome.

My 2011 4Runner had a factory radio with CD player. I was Looking for a great head unit to upgrade the driver experience. This head unit is fantastic! Apple Play and Android Auto connect wirelessly, no plugging in! The 9" screen is a perfect size! Worth the extra money for the larger viewing area. The car had a factory backup camera, but it was in the mirror. I was worried the image would not look good on the large screen but it looks great! Better than many current back-up images! With proper installation, a microphone can be discreetly mounted in the speedometer area at the steering wheel column to pick-up your voice when connected to the head unit. My car did not have an accessible USB port at the center console but the unit came with a short USB connector cable that could extend next to the AUX port, sticking out to be accessible at the center console area.

Fantastic stereo. I love this thing! All around excellent! Definitely recommend this. Install is not too bad if you're doing it yourself.
